James Island Yacht Club

The James Island Yacht Club, established in 1898, stands as a venerable institution on the shores of Charleston Harbor. Founded as part of an agricultural society, the club has evolved over the years, hosting sailing regattas and competitions that have become hallmarks of its legacy.
