Lake Canyon Yacht Club

The Lake Canyon Yacht Club was chartered in 1967 with its primary focus on family sailing, as well as active participation in the LCYC volunteer-based community. The club is located on the north shore of Canyon Lake, Texas about 45 miles north of San Antonio and 50 miles south of Austin. Its facilities occupy 18 acres of land on a bluff overlooking the deep 8000-acre lake.The club’s amenities include a 144-slip waterfront with ample docking space for day sailed boats and visitors participating in regattas, a two-lane launch ramp, dry storage for over 150 boats, a clubhouse with a party deck, a swimming pool, and a boat rigging tower for stepping and unstepping masts. The Lake Canyon Yacht Club supports an active racing program which includes J-22, Catalina 22, Flying Scot, Opti, PHRF, Portsmouth dinghy and Multi-hull fleets. Not to be missed is the annual Wurstfest Regatta, an LCYC signature event since 1968.
