Lopez Lake Marina, situated at 6820 Lopez Drive in Arroyo Grande, California, is a gem of the Central Coast. Created in 1969 with the construction of the Lopez Dam, this marina is part of a 4,200-acre recreation area that has transformed a historic landscape once inhabited by the Chumash Indians and later by homesteaders and ranchers. The marina offers a myriad of activities, including sailing, wind surfing, water skiing, and fishing, set against the backdrop of oak woodlands and coastal sage scrub.

The lake’s 22 miles of shoreline and summer temperatures around 70°F make it an ideal year-round destination. The surrounding hills, once covered by the sea, are now home to over 175 species of flowering plants and more than 150 species of birds. With its rich history and diverse wildlife, Lopez Lake Marina provides a unique blend of natural beauty and recreational luxury, making it a standout destination for those seeking an authentic and enriching experience on the California coast.
