Melbourne Harbor is conveniently located just south of the Melbourne Causeway, at Channel Marker 6 on the Intracoastal Waterway and the Indian River Lagoon. We’re 16 miles north of the Sebastian Inlet and 22 miles south of the Canaveral Inlet.

Exit the west side of the ICW south of R6. Take the ICW R6 down the starboard side, then line up due west / 270 to the marker channel. The 2nd channel south of Melbourne / 192 Causeway. For deeper drafts, favor the red side. It was reported 4/7/2017, that there was shoaling in the entrance channel from R4 to R8. Measured depth in the center of the channel between 4.8 – 5 feet for about 200 yards. Local knowledge says to favor the red, departed on red side and saw a constant 4.5-feet. Previously dredged to 8-feet. Silt and mud on the bottom due to fresh water creek outflow. There is no daily tidal change, but strong wind shifts will cause the tide to rise and fall 3 – 4 inches

There are 23-foot finger piers on one side of each slip. Powerboats enter stern in, sailboats bow in. 2 slips are available for bigger boats with 60-foot finger piers. The T-head fuel dock is available for larger yachts. 30-foot minimum.$8.00 per night for electric.
