The Metropolitan Yacht Club is one of the finest boating facilities in the Northeast. We are truly a full featured club with facilities available for almost every type of activity. Our location is well sheltered; we offer full floating docks, electricity, cable tv, and water at every slip. We also have a beautiful clubhouse with a new deck overlooking the yacht basin, swimming pool, new travel lift, gasoline for our members and general public, and a completely dredged basin.With roots that date back over 60 years, we have a great tradition and reputation, but are also a very family-oriented and fun club. We are proud members of the Quincy Bay and Mass Bay and have a strong Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla.

Notes

In the turning basin, just in front of the large storage fuel tanks is the entrance to the channel. This channel is dredged by the Army Corp but at low tide, there is just 6 feet of water and you need to follow the channel carefully. The channel is well marked with buoys which are set out seasonably. Be very very careful if you attempt this channel after dark. The channel shoals very quickly and the bottom is very rocky
