Located at Statute Mile 1090 on the Atlantic ICW at Marker 53, just South of the Port of Miami Causeway / Dodge Island Bridge. If coming from offshore, you cannot come through the main channel, and must approach through the Fisherman’s Channel to the south. Cruise ships moor at the piers in the main channel, and for security reasons, the USCG does not allow regualr pleasure craft to transit. Upon entering Government Cut, take the channel to the left once it forks. You’ll see the Port of Miami cranes to offload cargo ships
