Mill Harbor Yacht Club, MHYC, was established in June 1986 to expand the pleasure of boating on Payette Lake and to promote camaraderie throughout the year. Members typically moor at either May Marina, Mile High Marina or private docks. MHYC provides a means of communicating among fellow yachters through social events and regattas. Club activities include cruising, racing, raft-ups, and Spring/Fall parties. The club is low-key and does not have a constitution or bylaws, but does have club officers Commodore, Vice-Commodore and Treasurer. Each year a new officer is elected to fill the position of Treasurer as the other officers advance to the next position.
