Norfolk Yacht & Country Club is a warm and welcoming Club where its member families and guests have unique experiences which create lifelong friendships and memories. Our first-class waterfront setting provides a wide range of social activities and recreational facilities for member enjoyment and perpetuates a culture of camaraderie and fun among our members. Our Club is uniquely located on the Lafayette River on Hampton Boulevard between Old Dominion University and the Norfolk Naval Station.

Depart the main shipping channel about 150 yards north of the marker G21. Take a direct course to Fl R LR2, then follow the markers into the Lafayette River up to the yacht club floating docks opposite daymarker R14, just before the low Hampton Boulevard Bridge (vertical clearance 24 feet) immediately ahead. Current is usually weak to moderate, and best to observe flow rate on channel markers and pilings to plan docking/undocking. Tide range is 2.76’ diurnal, but larger range with spring tides or weather. This route was sounded on 9/26/2013 and the captain sounding it found nothing less than 12.8 feet depth MLW
