Founded in 1962 by Ted and Monica Johnson, along with their 16-year-old son Jerry, this marine center began as a humble fuel dock and rental boat business on the Intracoastal Waterway. In 1979, the center forged a pivotal partnership with Grady-White Boats, marking the beginning of a successful alliance that would propel the business forward. By 1990, it had become a full-line Yamaha dealer, earning numerous accolades including the Gold Anchor Award for Sales Achievement and induction into the Admiral’s Circle for high sales volume and customer satisfaction.
