Pope's Island Marina

Pope’s Island Marina is centrally located right in the middle of Historic New Bedford harbor and proudly managed by the New Bedford Port Authority. Pope’s Island Marina is also home to the New Bedford Launch, connecting you to local attractions, waterside restaurants and entertainment. Our friendly Marina staff and Harbor attendants are here to help make your stay enjoyable. Pope’s Island Marina is located on the south side of Pope’s Island and enjoys a well protected spot inside the Hurricane Barrier, in the Upper Harbor, east of the New Bedford/Fairhaven Bridge.During our season, Marina staff monitors VHF Channel 09. Channel 16 serves as an emergency channel and is monitored by the Coast Guard.
