The Port Arthur Yacht Club, situated at 410 Pleasure Pier Boulevard on the expansive Pleasure Island, has been a cornerstone of the Southeast Texas sailing community since its founding in 1965. Despite recently being forced to vacate its longtime clubhouse due to city developments, the club remains committed to its mission.
Here, passionate sailors and enthusiasts gather for various events, including weekly Thursday night races, adult sailing lessons, and the popular Sea Scouts Summer Sailing Camp.
