The Prince Rupert Rowing and Yachting Club is proud to be one of the oldest yacht clubs in Canada, situated on BC’s northernmost port. Located on the same site today as its inception in 1909, the Club has been in continuous operation since its incorporation by a group of pioneering Prince Rupert businessmen.Though most of the vessels in the Club are currently propelled by internal combustion engines, it holds the name “Rowing and Yachting Club” to celebrate its heritage and the mariners who continue the traditions of wind and man power today.Whether you’re travelling by engine, paddle, or sail, we welcome you to experience a living piece of our waterfront’s heritage as part of your North Coast adventure.
