Rossport Marina

The Rossport Marina reflects the village’s past as a major stop for the voyageurs on the fur trade route to and from Fort William. The harbour also supported a commercial fishery during the 1880’s.Rossport Harbour Non-Profit Marina Inc. was incorporated on June 26, 1995. The Marina ownership was transferred from Department of Fisheries and Oceans to the Rossport Harbour Non-Profit Marina Inc. in 1995.The Rossport Harbour Non-Profit Marina Inc. continues to own and operate the property as a not-for-profit corporation managed by a volunteer Board of Directors, with a Mission to provide safe, quality public access to Lake Superior and the Lake Superior National Marine Conservation Area for both recreational and commercial vessels.
