Sunrise Marina

Obsession Fishing Charters was started in 1986 out of Port Canaveral Florida, from what is now known as Sunrise Marina. The business expanded in 1992 to include a head boat fishing vessel, Ocean Obsession.The frustration as a charter boat owner, operating from a facility that refused to cater to fisherman, left a determination to do it differently, should the opportunity arise. In 1994 the opportunity did arise and Dolphins Leap was purchased from the brink of bankruptcy and renamed Sunrise Marina. An immediate change in forklift service hours was made….serious fishermen leave early….sometimes they stay out late! Our goal has always been to make Sunrise “A Fisherman’s Marina”. Early hours, tackle and bait selections unsurpassed, and prompt friendly service has been our goal ever since. Constant improvements to Sunrise have been made since its purchase. Including 140 mph wind proof storage buildings installed in 2005….new floating docks and a 24,000lb forklift. We are not the largest marina in Port Canaveral….but we are closest to the ocean…..and feel we offer the finest service available!
