The Boat Place

Our boat yard is located in a sheltered corner of Port Jefferson Harbor, and can provide hauling, launching, and storage for power and sailboats up to 50′ in length. Most sailboats are stored with the mast up to eliminate the additional cost and risk of unstepping and stepping the mast. However, we have the capability to unstep and step masts if desired.We operate a 25-ton Marine Travelift and have our own private boat launching ramp and floating docks. During the summer season, our floating docks are used exclusively by our Dry Land Marina, a hi-and-dry service for trailerable boats up to 26′. During the winter season, boats are stored not only in our main yard, but also in a private, fenced annex yard in Setauket. While no work is performed in the annex yard, it allows for the storage of approximately 100 trailerable boats. Need a place to store your trailer during the summer season?
