The 2025 Strike King Bassmaster College National Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops promises to be an exciting showcase of talent and passion for collegiate anglers. Scheduled for July 10 to 12 at Cherokee Lake in Jefferson City, Tennessee, this prestigious event provides an unparalleled opportunity for the nation’s top collegiate fishermen to compete for the national title. Cherokee Lake, a sprawling 28,000-acre reservoir managed by the Tennessee Valley Authority, is renowned for its stunning landscape and biodiversity, boasting 400 miles of scenic shoreline teeming with both largemouth and smallmouth bass. This picturesque setting not only offers a challenge to participants but also delivers a breathtaking backdrop for spectators.

How Can You Experience the Championship Event?
Daily activities throughout the event will center at the Cherokee Dam Boat Ramp located on Renfro Road. Spectators are encouraged to come and immerse themselves in the thrill of the tournament. The excitement kicks off with the blast-off scheduled for 6:00 AM, allowing competitors to head out at dawn when conditions are ideal for fishing. Weigh-ins, where the day’s catches are evaluated, will take place daily at 2:00 PM. This format allows fans to see the results of the anglers’ hard work and strategies as they vie for a chance at the title.

Need Directions to the Championship?
Traveling to the Cherokee Dam Boat Ramp is straightforward. If you’re coming from White Pine, simply proceed south on U.S. Highway 11E toward Jefferson City, and then turn left onto Renfro Road for easy access to the boat ramp. Given the expected turnout, we recommend arriving early to secure a good spot to enjoy all the festivities.
