What are the requirements for salmon in the derby? To compete, adult salmon need to measure at least 30 inches, while youth participants are required to catch salmon that are 24 inches or longer. Weigh-in stations are conveniently located at Sun Up Bay and Carlin Bay, open from 7 AM to 9 PM Wednesday through Saturday, and until noon on Sunday.
