Throughout Labor Day weekend 2025, Bryson City, NC and the Great Smoky Mountains region offer scenic heritage train rides on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, local craft and farm markets, and early-fall hikes on the Appalachian Trail. Outdoor music events and river tubing experiences run in tandem with cooler mountain air. Though no specific Labor Day fireworks are scheduled, local breweries host live‐music patios nightly.
