Over Labor Day weekend 2025 (Aug 29–Sept 1), Alexandria–Pineville’s CenLabration returns to the Riverfront Convention Center Plaza and nearby parks. Highlights include carnival midway, children’s craft workshops, arts & crafts vendors, and nightly free concerts spanning rock, blues and Cajun music. On Labor Day Sunday, a fireworks finale over the Red River caps the celebration. Food trucks serve Louisiana classics—gumbo, beignets and po’boys—while family activities run all day.
