Event details

Norfolk County’s most celebrated spring food festival returns April 3 through 5, 2026 at the Norfolk County Fairgrounds in Simcoe, Ontario, celebrating 15 years of showcasing the region’s remarkable farm-to-table culture.

The 2026 event promises tastings from dozens of local restaurants, food producers, wineries, breweries, and cideries under one roof, with live musical entertainment all three days. Entry costs $16 to $28 per person (19+ only), with doors opening at 5:00 PM Thursday and Friday, and 3:00 PM Saturday. The Pure Spirits Distillery After Party returns to the upper level of Building #2 (the Homecraft Building) on Friday and Saturday nights from 9:00 PM to midnight, requiring a separate $10 ticket.

You can sample award-winning wines from Front Road Cellars and Burning Kiln Winery, sip craft beers from Charlotteville Brewing Co. and Concession Road Brewing Co., and taste dishes from Simcoe’s top restaurants while tapping your feet to live music performances.

This fundraiser supports the Norfolk County Agricultural Society, which hosts over 115,000 visitors annually through various events. Parking is free on the fairgrounds, and most vendors accept both cash and cards.Simcoe sits just 5 miles north of Lake Erie’s Ontario South Coast, where the region’s agricultural richness meets freshwater beaches and charming port towns. Long Point Provincial Park, one of Ontario’s most visited parks, extends into Lake Erie as a 40-kilometer sand spit creating a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Port Dover, a 15-minute drive from Simcoe, offers a working fishing harbour where you can watch boats unload fresh pickerel, perch, and walleye.

For dinner after the festival, head to The Blue Elephant in downtown Simcoe for casual dining, or drive to Port Dover for David’s Restaurant, serving upscale Canadian cuisine with stunning lake views since the early 2000s. The Boat House Restaurant, a Port Dover staple since 1960, specializes in Lake Erie fish and serves possibly the best beach-side fries in Ontario.

Browse lakefront properties on Lake.com near Port Dover, Turkey Point, or Long Point, where you can extend your festival weekend into a full beach retreat with morning swims, afternoon wine tours through Norfolk County’s vineyard country, and sunset walks along Canada’s warmest Great Lake shoreline.
