Saturday–Sunday, August 30–31, 2025, the Fiber College campus in Searsport hosts Makers Weekend: drop-in and scheduled workshops in spinning, weaving and dyeing led by master craftspeople. Demonstrations showcase historic loom techniques and modern felting. Local artisans sell hand-knit garments and plant-based dyes at the campus commons. A community yarn-bomb installation on Main Street celebrates the holiday weekend.
