Jamestown Day is a great excuse to turn history into a hands-on family outing. At Jamestown Settlement, interpreters and demonstrations bring early Virginia stories to life, with programs that keep kids engaged through movement, questions, and quick “wow” moments.
The setting is part of the draw: you’re right on the James River. Before or after programs, take a riverside walk, watch the water, and use the Colonial Parkway for a scenic drive between Jamestown, Williamsburg, and Yorktown.
