The John G. Eastwold Memorial Fireworks show lights the sky around Bull Shoals Dam, with viewing available from the visitor-center overlook, nearby park areas, and boats on the lake itself. The combination of dramatic dam architecture and surrounding Ozark hills gives this community tradition an unusually scenic backdrop for the whole family.
Families can pair the evening with a full day of lake boating beforehand, or with the world-class trout fishing found just below the dam, an easy way to introduce children to a different side of the White River and its cold, clear tailwaters.
