Lost Valley Trail

Lost Valley Trailhead, Ponca Township, Arkansas

This is one of the most renowned trails in Arkansas, drawing hikers with its mesmerizing beauty. As you walk 2.2 miles through the verdant landscape, you’ll find Eden Falls, a stunning waterfall perfect for photo opportunities. Whitaker Point Trail

Located south of Ponca, this trail, also known as Hawksbill Crag, takes you through the heart of the Ozarks. Featuring a moderate hike (2.7 miles long) with a bit of a kick, it’s an absolute must-visit for nature lovers. This trail also has very little elevation and takes up to two hours to complete.

Centerpoint to Goat Trail

Starting from the Centerpoint Trailhead in the Buffalo National River Area, this six-mile hike has a moderate elevation gain and is perfect for thrill-seekers. This in-and-back hike provides stunning views of the Buffalo River from the bluff, which stands approximately 500 feet above the river. Hiking shoes are recommended as the trail is rocky. It takes 2.5-3 hours to complete the hike and is the perfect location to watch the size rise or set—just be sure to bring flashlights for your trip!
