Four days of crawfish, rides, and live music
Celebrate St. Bernard Parish with seafood feasts, carnival rides, crafts, and nightly concerts at the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center in Chalmette.
Event details
Four spring nights in St. Bernard Parish feel like a Louisiana postcard: steam rising off boiling pots, Zydeco drifting across the midway, and families circling back for one more tray of crawfish bread. The Louisiana Crawfish Festival turns the Frederick J. Sigur Civic Center into a walkable village of food booths, local crafts, and kid-approved rides.
Plan to arrive hungry and pace yourself. Admission is free on Thursday, then low-cost on the weekend, with varying daily hours. Between sets, wander the arts-and-crafts rows, let kids cash in for the Ferris wheel, and sample regional favorites beyond the boil.
