The MNYFO Wed Night Derby is a thrilling fishing tournament tailored specifically for young anglers aged 14 and under. This exciting event takes place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 4 to 8 pm at Cedar Lake in New Prague, located at 1681 Cedar Lake Road. It’s an ideal setting for youth to experience the joy of fishing while competing to catch bass in a vibrant freshwater environment.

How Do Participants Compete?
During the tournament, participants will engage in a virtual competition using the Reel Livewell mobile app. Each angler will strive to catch their best seven bass, which will contribute to their overall standing on the leaderboard. This innovative approach not only makes the tournament accessible but also adds a contemporary twist to traditional fishing events. Trophies will be awarded for first to third place, along with recognition for the Big Bass and additional prizes for all participants, ensuring everyone walks away with a memorable experience.

Who Can Join the Tournament?
To participate in the MNYFO Wed Night Derby, anglers must be members of TBF and compete in teams to accumulate points throughout the fishing season. Registration for this exciting event opens four weeks prior to the tournament and will close one week before, unless the maximum number of boats is reached.
