From August 1–3 at Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds, Salmonfest blends camping culture with concerts on two stages, workshops on sustainable fisheries, salmon-themed art installations, and local food trucks featuring smoked seafood. Festivalgoers camp onsite, enjoy morning yoga by the river, and close each night with a drum circle under the midnight sun. Green initiatives include leave-no-trace camping and solar-powered stages.
