The Utah Ren Fest: Vikings and Heroes Weekend brings tournament-day energy to Marriott-Saterville, just outside Ogden. You will see professional jousting, staged combat, and character-driven storytelling from reenactors and performers who lean into Norse and heroic legends. Come with your group ready to move between arena action and walk-through encounters.
Plan to spend time at the jousting field, where the main tournaments set the pace for the day. Between sets, you can browse artisan stalls for handmade goods, then take a seat near the stages for period-style music and comedy. Many guests arrive in costume, and you are welcome to join in as long as you follow the event’s guidelines.
Arrive early for smoother parking and a better spot for the first jousting session.
