Join us for the Vail Concours, a free three-day automotive celebration in Vail, Colorado, from September 18 to September 20, 2026. Set against the stunning backdrop of Vail Mountain, this event brings together families, friends, and car enthusiasts to share in the joy of automotive excellence. The picturesque Lionshead Village and the base of Vail Mountain provide a perfect setting for this gathering, offering breathtaking views and a welcoming atmosphere.

The Vail Concours features a variety of activities suitable for all ages. On Friday, September 18, embark on a scenic drive from Vail to Steamboat Springs, with a picnic lunch along the way. In the evening, enjoy the “Cars & Cocktails” Texas BBQ Dinner, complete with live music and dancing. Saturday, September 19, offers the “Cars & Coffee Car Show,” showcasing a diverse array of vehicles from antique classics to modern supercars. The main event, the Vail Concours Car Show, takes place on Sunday, September 20, featuring over 100 pristine cars displayed throughout Lionshead Village. This event is free to attend and open to the public.

Whether you’re a family looking for a fun outing, a pet lover seeking dog-friendly events, a couple in search of scenic photo spots, or a group gathering for shared meals and activities, the Vail Concours offers something for everyone.

Advance registration is required. If you are participating in the event and not a spectator, check with the event organizer well in advance about registering and any associated fees.

Friday – September 18

Barrett-Jackson Mountain Road Tour

A drive from the Vail area to Steamboat Springs following a route we carefully curate to maximize fun driving and beautiful scenery. Watch for a new surprise just to keep it interesting! We will take a break for a catered picnic and camaraderie in Steamboat Springs. Following lunch we proceed back to Vail by a different route. Some drivers may opt to spend some time exploring Steamboat Springs and make their way back to Vail on their own schedule. Drivers select their group based on vehicle types and driving styles; some may prefer a “spirited” drive while others prefer a more leisurely pace. (Advance Registration Required)

Cars and Cocktails

Dinner and drinks featuring Texas BBQ, beer, wine, live music and lawn games in a comfortable and relaxing setting.(Advance registration required.)

Saturday- September 19

Cars & Coffee

At the base of Vail Mountain’s Gondola 1. This is a scenic venue on the lawn. Friends and new friends gather to enjoy cars, camaraderie and coffee. Some may take this time to plan a casual afternoon drive. Some car clubs may plan their own afternoon activities.

(Displaying cars requires advanced registration and credentials).

Spectators on foot welcome 9-11-ish

 

Sunday- September 20

Vail Concours

Cars will fill the streets of Lionshead Village and the Vail Mountain Lionshead Base area near the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Enter your car to be judged or enter it for display (we won’t judge!). This is your opportunity to compete and to show off your pride and joy as we welcome spectators to circulate. (Advance Registration Required)

Spectators welcome 9:00 am – 3pm – no charge/no registration. Donations to support our non-profit mission encouraged!
