July 18–19, 2025 at Governor’s Landing Park (1010 Lake Gaston Dr, Clarksville, VA), Virginia Lake Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration on Lake Gaston’s shores. Enjoy live bands from noon–9 PM, helicopter sightseeing rides, a kids’ zone and local food vendors. As dusk falls both nights, boats gather on the water for a fireworks display over the lake. Park admission is free; boat and lakeside viewing encouraged.
