Biloxi Maritime Museum

This exhibit, “Heirlooms of History and Heritage” features the quilting works of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Sand Stitchers and Vancleave Quilting Bees. The groups include quilters of all levels of experience who gather for fellowship, sharing of ideas and techniques while creating beautiful heirloom quilts and wall hangings. The colorful collection includes works of coastal and maritime themes captured in both pictures and quilt patterns carefully stitched together by local artisans.
