Folsom Lake Yacht Club

Located above the Brown’s Ravine Boat Ramp inside Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, FLYC is a sailing club that holds regattas, series races, fun races, social events, cruises and other happenings on Folsom Lake. Among our members are some of the finest sailors and nicest people in California. So, if you’re in the area, stop by. Because we do not have a yacht club building, there is no bar, but come out on a day we’re sailing (see calendar) and say hello. There is a small fee to enter the state park, more if you’re launching a boat (however, entry is free with a pass from any California public library – see story below).
