Originally accessible only by train, the marina now offers convenient road access, secure parking, and safe launching facilities. This family-run business, now in its third generation, provides exclusive access to the French River Provincial Park, a region rich in history and natural beauty.

The French River, designated Canada’s first Heritage River in 1986 and a provincial park in 1989, was a vital transportation corridor for the Voyageurs during the fur trade era. Today, Hartley Bay Marina serves as a prime launch point for wilderness paddling, motorboating, and fishing. Guests can enjoy luxurious two-, three-, and four-bedroom housekeeping cottages overlooking the French River Delta, combining modern comforts with an immersive natural experience. The marina operates from May to October, offering a seamless blend of adventure and tranquility in the heart of North Eastern Ontario.
