In 2008 Lake Mead Marina was relocated 3miles south on Hwy 166 to Hemenway Launch ramp, next to Las Vegas Boat Harbor. It’s sitting in the area formerly known as Horsepower Cove, formerly a ski beach. Both marinas are owned by the same folks and offer slightly different services. Lake Mead Marina had to move from it’s original location due to the low water conditions. The new location is closer to Boulder City, convenient for those that stay in hotels nearby. Combining these two marinas ushers in best of both marinas together in one spot. These two marinas include all the amenities you need for a great time at Lake Mead. Their friendly people and a clean environment will make your visit memorable. Lake Mead Marina has a store and good deckside restaurant with 100″ bigscreen TV for sporting events.Overnight mooring of your boat is available, no reservations needed. The cost is $20/night. There’s always room for your boat, just tie it up almost anywhere along walkways or docks. If you arrive late after hours just pay the marina in the morning. Make sure you have adequate fenders to protect your boat. PWC can be vulnerable to get damaged on docks so be careful when tying up.
