Larsen Marine Service, situated at 625 Sea Horse Drive in Waukegan, Illinois, is a marina steeped in history and dedication to the boating community. Founded in 1933 by Milt Larsen, who borrowed $1,000 to lease a 3-acre parcel of sandy beach, this marina has evolved over nearly a century into a full-service facility capable of handling over 800 boats.

Today, on its expansive 20-acre site, Larsen Marine boasts 16 buildings, a crane, a boom crane, three travel lifts, and comprehensive service facilities including a paint shop, mechanical shop, and carpentry shop. The marina offers boat sales, extensive service work, a 900-boat storage facility, and 70 slips. Acquired by TopSide Marinas in 2022, Larsen Marine continues its legacy of customer-first service, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for boaters of all kinds.
