Seward Small Boat Harbor, located at 1300 4th Avenue in Seward, Alaska, is a vibrant maritime hub that has been a cornerstone of the community since its establishment in 1964. Situated on the northern edge of Resurrection Bay, this harbor is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and diverse maritime activities. The harbor is home to 500 slips and 7,000 lineal feet of transient boat space, catering to both local fishermen and visiting sailors.

Historically, the area has been a significant industrial and commercial center, with the Halibut Producers Co-Op, now Seward Fisheries-Icicle Seafoods, being the first business to rebuild after the devastating 1964 earthquake. Today, the harbor bustles with activity from commercial fishing fleets, over 100 charter boat operators, and numerous tour boats that explore the majestic Kenai Fjords National Park. The U.S. National Park Service has its headquarters here, and the harbor also hosts the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Mustang. During the summer months, the area transforms into a bustling commercial district with restaurants, shops, and various tourist amenities, making Seward Small Boat Harbor a quintessential Alaskan destination.
