Shoreside Petroleum

Shoreside Petroleum was established in 1986 in Seward, Alaska by Kurt and Diana Lindsey. Born out of a company they owned called Marathon Fuel Service, purchased in 1981 in Seward, Shoreside Petroleum’s portfolio includes retail gas stations, products like residential heating fuel, and services such as bulk lube deliveries. We serve a large and diverse customer base within numerous industries including construction, aviation, transportation, marine, fishing, mining and logging.Kurt is a third generation Alaskan. His parents, Dale and Carol Lindsey, originally purchased Andy’s Oil in 1959 in Seward, where they both were born. The company has expanded under the Petro Marine Services name since 1985, growing to be the largest Alaskan-owned petroleum distributorship in the state. In 2019, it celebrated its 60th year in business. As a family-owned business, Kurt and Diana’s sons, Matthew Lindsey and Kristopher Lindsey, hold positions in Shoreside Petroleum & Petro Marine Services. Matthew operates as the vice president of operations and Kristopher is working in inventory purchasing and control. Shoreside Petroleum credits its success to building long-term relationships with its customers, suppliers and employees, many of whom have been with the company for more than 25 years.
