Approaching the Oro Bay Outstation from east to west, skippers must be aware of the shoal extending from the left shore to a small GREEN buoy (indicated in red on the diagram), keeping both the shoal and the buoy to PORT. Once comfortably beyond the buoy, the docks ast the outstation may be approached in a direct manner – always mindful of the shoal area at the entrance. Deeper draft yachts should favor the outboard moorages due to shallow low tide levels in board. Use Chart 18448 or the printable Booklet Chart 18448.Club gate key is required to access outstation property, open storage shed and turn on electrical power to the docks. Please sign the visitor log in the shed upon arrival.Limited or no water at Oro Bay. 30-amp power on docks. Outhouses on shore, hand washing station during summer months. 2-Horse shoe pits.
