Thousand Islands Yacht Club (TIYC), located along the stunning St. Lawrence River in the heart of the Thousand Islands region, is a welcoming and well-connected private club known for its camaraderie, exceptional cruising access, and warm hospitality. TIYC proudly extends reciprocal privileges to members of other recognized yacht clubs, including one free night of dockage at Iroquois Marine Services—a charming marina located near the Iroquois Lock, ideal for transient boaters exploring the scenic waterways between Lake Ontario and the Atlantic.
TIYC is open seasonally from May through October and serves as a gathering place for families, cruising couples, and yacht club flotillas. While the club itself does not operate a large slip facility, its close partnership with Iroquois Marine Services—offering slips for vessels up to 60 feet—ensures visiting boaters have a comfortable and convenient place to dock. Common watercraft in the area include cruisers, trawlers, and sailboats from brands like Jeanneau, Sea Ray, and Beneteau.
While in Iroquois, guests can explore nearby amenities such as Iroquois Golf Club, Galaxy of Gifts boutique, and the charming Riverside Café. Events in the Thousand Islands region include waterfront festivals, fishing tournaments, and family reunions, making TIYC a key social and nautical hub for seasonal visitors cruising one of Canada’s most iconic boating destinations.
