Watergate Yachting Center

Watergate Marina was established in 1965 on 45 acres along the protected south shore side of Clear Lake, in the City of Clear Lakes Shores, Texas. The Marina is less than an hours drive from Downtown Houston City Center and less than an hour from the City of Galveston and its miles of beautiful beaches. Galveston Bay is only 15 minutes away by boat which leads to the Ship Channel and to the City of Galveston about 21 nautical miles by water.The Marina has 27 piers with a selection of different types of floating piers, state of the art, and wood and a fixed covered pier, offering affordable pricing for everyone, set amongst sub-tropical landscaping. Parking is next to the piers, providing ample and convenient parking for boat owners. Laundry facilities and Bath Houses and a public restroom are located throughout the marina, close to the piers and parking, for easy access.The lush sub-tropical, well maintained landscape has earned this marina the prestige award of being the ‘Most Beautiful Marina’ on Clear lake, by the Marina Association of Texas. Offering a 2 mile walking trail winding its way through the landscape and buildings and docks. Picnic areas with grills are scattered throughout with umbrellas to offer cooling shade and Family fun.
