We value tradition, quality time for families and stewarding the natural world — all things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small. When someone visits Lake, they have a very special vacation in mind; one that can only happen by the water.
Listing your vacation rental property on Lake is free. Platform fees come into play only when a booking takes place.
At Lake, fees are charged to Hosts and Guests. When a Guest makes a booking, he or she pays a 3% service fee per booking. Lake charges a 5% platform fee to Hosts per booking, which is deducted from the booking’s subtotal amount. Or, you can choose a annual listing plan for $99/year and get 0% commisions.
Lake will send you payment for a booking after the first night’s stay is completed. You will be paid by automatic bank deposit as linked within your Lake account.
We focus on vacation rental properties that are on or near the water. While we welcome all properties, the closer you are to the water, the better you will do on Lake. Water qualifies as lakes, rivers, ponds, streams, babbling brooks, springs, waterfalls, and last but not least, oceans (we admit, we might have missed a body of water in here!). Most people using Lake are looking for a traditional cottaging or cabin experience in nature with access to water.
Lake has a partnership with Hospitable. With one click of a button, Lake customers can use Hospitable Connect to connect their Airbnb account and list their properties on Lake.
