August 29–30 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, the Arizona Black Rodeo presents bull riding, barrel racing, steer roping and beauty pageants. Live jazz and gospel bands perform between events. Cultural exhibits highlight Black cowboys’ history in the West. Concessions serve BBQ and sweet tea. Family zone includes pony rides and cowboy hat decorating.
