Arizona’s crappie community turns out in force for the Bob Hirsch Crappie Classic, a Roosevelt Lake tradition that mixes a serious derby with a friendly campground gathering at Windy Hill.The 2026 tournament lands Saturday, October 24, 2026, with entry forms taken at Windy Hill Campground’s Coyote Loop up to 4:30 AM. Teams weigh in at the Windy Hill Bobcat ramp parking lot before 2:30 PM, then stick around for winner announcements, raffle energy, and the classic end-of-day meetup.
