Canada’s biggest camping country festival near Barrie
Camp and sing along at Boots and Hearts at Burl’s Creek, close to Barrie—three days of major country shows, food vendors, and festival energy.
Event details
Country music fans, circle August 7 to 9, 2026, because Boots and Hearts returns to Burl’s Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte with a three-day lineup featuring The Chicks and Rascal Flatts as headliners. This year’s festival also brings Russell Dickerson, Brett Kissel, Tucker Wetmore, and rising stars like Dasha and Sam Barber to the stage.
General admission weekend passes start around $375, with kids 12 and under free alongside an adult ticket holder. Camping opens the day before, so you can settle into your tent or RV site and spend the whole weekend surrounded by fellow country fans. The venue is cashless, so leave your bills at home and bring a credit card.
When you need a break from boot-stomping, Lake Simcoe is just 15 minutes away. Innisfil Beach Park offers sandy shores, a dog-friendly beach area, and a 2-kilometer promenade perfect for stretching your legs. Bass Lake Provincial Park, even closer to the festival grounds, has canoe and kayak rentals plus a swimming beach formed 10,000 years ago.
Grab dinner before the evening sets at The KTCHN at Braestone Club, opened around 2021, named one of Canada’s Top 100 Romantic Restaurants, where golf course views and a 45-ounce Tomahawk steak make for quite the pre-show meal. For something casual, Loobies Restaurant in Craighurst, serving since 2002, dishes out classic eggs benedict and homemade comfort food.
We recommend booking a lakefront cottage through Lake.com on Lake Simcoe or nearby Bass Lake, where you can recover from late nights with morning swims and lazy afternoons on the dock. VIP upgrades get you front-of-stage viewing, private bar, and express entry if you want to splurge.
This is Ontario’s biggest country camping festival for a reason, and pairing it with a lakeside retreat makes the experience even sweeter.
