Event details

The Memorial 4×4 Total Off Road Rally puts you on the trails at Trollhaugen Outdoor Adventure Park in Dresser, Wisconsin, for a full holiday weekend of technical driving and community time. Hosted by the Minnesota Go-4 Wheelers, the event opens a trail system and obstacle playground built for high-clearance 4x4s, SUVs, and SxS rigs. You spend your days working the Red, White, Blue, and Yellow routes, then regroup at camp to compare lines, fixes, and trail stories by the fire.

Expect a high-energy environment that still keeps standards tight, with plenty to watch even if you are not driving. Friday night starts at Spectator Hill with the Truck Pull at 6:30 PM, after the playground opens at noon for skills testing. Saturday is the biggest spectator day, with trails running 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the Monster Truck and Big Air show beginning at 2:00 PM, followed by the Good Ol’ Boys Race.

Sunday shifts to timed competition with the Iron Rock OffRoad Yellow Rock Race at 9:00 AM, while trails remain open for registered participants. Between runs, you can shop vendor rows for parts and gear, and plan your evenings around music, bonfires, and the party barn. Spectator tickets typically run $10 to $20 depending on the day, and full weekend rig registration generally includes camping.

Arrive early Friday to clear the mandatory tech inspection before traffic builds, and pack rain gear plus extra towels since local clay holds on in wet conditions. If you camp, bring a portable fire ring since ground pits are not allowed. Safety rules are strictly enforced, with fireworks and alcohol prohibited on trails and in the park; ATVs and dirt bikes are not permitted, and if you are considering bringing a pet, confirm current club restrictions first. For sleep, most participants stay on-site in Dresser with 24-hour showers, or you can book a rental in St. Croix Falls or Osceola for a quieter reset between days.
