Event details

Lake Geneva transforms into bourbon country April 17-19, 2026, when the Geneva Lakes Whiskey Club hosts its third annual Wee Whiskey Fest across the historic Wisconsin resort town and the AAA Four-Diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa. This three-day celebration of whiskey culture blends 150+ premium bourbons and whiskies from 50+ distilleries with Scottish bagpipes, burlesque entertainment, and a citywide cocktail competition, all set against the backdrop of one of the Midwest’s most beloved lakeside destinations.

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa serves as both title sponsor and primary venue, hosting the signature Saturday Grand Tasting in its Grand Ballroom. The 1,300-acre resort sits at 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva, WI 53147, approximately three miles, about 10 minutes, from the downtown lakefront where additional events unfold at Maxwell Mansion, Celebration on Wells, Champs Sports Bar & Grill, and Magpies Den & Pen.

Dancing Goat Distillery anchors the featured lineup

While 50+ distilleries participate, Wisconsin-based Dancing Goat Distillery serves as the official partner, with Master Distiller Nick Maas creating Wee Sippin’ Whiskey exclusively for the 2026 festival. Highlander and Bottled-in-Bond packages include a Geneva Lakes Whiskey Club barrel-pick limited edition bourbon bottle.

Red Line Bourbon sponsors the citywide cocktail competition, with bartenders crafting original recipes throughout the weekend.

The tasting emphasis falls heavily on bourbon, though the selection spans American whiskeys, single malts, and Irish expressions. The complete distillery vendor list typically releases closer to the event date.

Grand Geneva anchors accommodations with resort luxury

The resort offers 358 guest rooms and suites plus 29 villas ranging from studios to three-bedroom retreats with full kitchens. Rates typically run $177-$470 per night depending on room category and demand, with a $25 resort fee covering valet parking, WiFi, fitness center, and pool access.
