Receiving Payments at Lake
Lake operates our secure payment system so that you will receive smooth, fast, and secure payments for your bookings. Lake has a pay-per-booking model where we charge hosts a 10% commission on the total rental amount (stay + fees).
We send you payouts for bookings you get on Lake using the payment processor, Stripe.
Connecting to Stripe
When a guest books your property on Lake.com, their payment is captured immediately by Stripe.
The payment is held securely by Lake and released after the first night’s stay of a guest booking.
To ensure you are paid promptly for the stay, Lake requires that you connect to Stripe in your Lake.com account.
