Comparing Fee Structures

Knowing how these fees affect your earnings can help you make informed decisions and maximize your income.

There are two main host fee models that most platforms use: pay-per-booking and annual subscription.

In the pay-per-booking model, you pay a percentage-based fee for each reservation guests make. At Lake, the fee structure is straightforward. We charge an 8% fee, broken down into a 5% commission fee based on the rental amount, additional cleaning fees, and a 3% payment processing fee.

Annual Membership Option

Annual subscription models can be attractive for hosts with multiple properties or who prefer a flat fee. Lake offers an annual subscription for $499, covering all your property listings without paying per reservation.
