When Grammy-winning guitarist Billy Strings returns to Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville in February 2026, he’ll perform his fifth consecutive annual residency in this mountain city he’s adopted as a musical home. The 4-night run, February 10, 11, 13, and 14, 2026 in Asheville (no show February 12), has become one of the Southeast’s most coveted tickets.
Last February’s six-night stand generated $15 million for the local economy, drawing 38,174 attendees from all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and five countries. The 2026 shows hold special resonance: after Hurricane Helene devastated Western North Carolina in September 2024, Billy Strings was among the few major artists who kept his Asheville commitment. His team delayed ticket sales until internet was restored and implemented a geo-focused presale giving early access only to FEMA-recognized disaster zip codes.
Strings is known for elaborate themed runs, his 2022 “Away From The Shire” Halloween stand featured Lord of the Rings costumes and trilogy-inspired setlists. Tickets start around $109–$199 per night, with four-day passes from approximately $753. Shows routinely sell out completely.
The venue, originally the Asheville City Auditorium built by the Works Progress Administration in 1939, seats approximately 7,674 in the ExploreAsheville.com Arena. It has operated under its current Harrah’s Cherokee naming rights since January 1, 2020.
