The visitor center at Obed Wild and Scenic River is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time every day, except for Thanksgiving, December 25, and January 1.
There is no entrance fee to visit Obed Wild and Scenic River. However, a $10 fee applies for overnight camping at the Rock Creek campground.
From Knoxville, take Highway 62 East, then Highway 27 South towards Wartburg. Follow brown road signs to the visitor center, a gateway to breathtaking gorges and scenic river vistas.
Parking is available in designated lots at Lilly Bridge, Nemo Bridge, and Rock Creek Campground. No overnight parking except at Rock Creek Campground. No fees. RVs and motorcycles can use these lots, but size limits are not specified.
